Skills Sessions

Each year we run a series of careers skills and information sessions for students of all year groups and disciplines. They provide students with an overview or an insight into particular skills commonly required in the workplace or skills necessary to make a successful job or graduate scheme application.

Employer participation in the skills sessions is welcomed and by taking part you have the opportunity to raise your profile across a variety of students and hence access students at key points in their career decision-making. Previous skill session topics have included: commercial awareness, video interviewing, handling rejection, building resilience, leadership skills, personal branding, mock interviews, assessment centre participation, presentation skills and career motivation.
