Careers Fairs and Events

One of the best ways of both raising your profile and meeting our talented students is through a recruitment event where you can meet face-to-face with potential recruits. At The University of Manchester we offer a variety of ways in which recruiters can do this in an efficient way. These include:

Presentations

Presentations provide an ideal way to introduce your company or organisation to our students and graduate, to tell them about your vacancies, internship and placement opportunities and graduate schemesThe majority of employer presentations take place during the autumn term, particularly between October and November and again during the spring term between February and March. These can be virtual and on-campus, on-campus presentations are organised by the university’s Conference Office and will incur a charge.

If you are looking to hold a presentation session, please contact us with your expression of interest by completing the Event Request Form and we will check date availability, aiming to avoid competing presentations.

Virtual events

You are welcome to host a virtual presentation or other recruitment event, using our CareerConnect platform to advertise it. Please complete the Event Request Form and we will advise you of date availability and any clashing events.
