Manchester Gold has been withdrawn pending a relaunch of the programme in early 2020. However, you can still volunteer to be contacted by University of Manchester students for short-term, careers related advice through our Ask Me About programme.

The Careers Service at The University of Manchester has been running successful mentoring programmes since 1998. Mentoring continues to be extremely popular amongst our students and has a strong reputation on campus.

Our "Ask Me About" programme is an excellent resource for both mentors and students who are unable to commit to a long-term mentoring relationship but would like to connect on a one-off basis for careers-related advice.
During registration onto Manchester Network, mentors are kindly asked to select the “Ask Me About” service first, before selecting the Manchester Gold programmes they wish to mentor on this year.
