Supporting and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion

We encourage the recruiters we work with to improve social mobility and diversity in the workplace through their recruitment strategies.

However, improving diversity and social mobility in an organisation is not an easy task. There is no quick fix; employers should make a long-term commitment to creating a diverse workforce. We provide guidance on how we can support you with this on our employer website.

Topics covered on our website include:

  • A quick reference guide suggesting best practices.
  • Links to useful resources by third party groups dedicated to furthering social mobility.
  • A directory of Student Societies that represent a large range of groups, nationalities and cultures.
  • An overview of the events we run for students to promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Some key facts and figures about our students and the work we are committed to do as a University to improve social mobility and equality, diversity and inclusion.
