Services for recruiters


Many organisations host an employer presentation for The University of Manchester’s students and recent graduates. Such presentations provide an ideal way to introduce your company or organisation to our students and tell them about your vacancies, placement opportunities and graduate schemes.

The majority of employer presentations take place during the autumn term, particularly between October and November and again during the spring term between February and March.

For autumn 2020, we appreciate that events will be taking place virtually rather than as physical face to face events. We will try to help employers avoid clashes with competing presentations where possible.

If you are holding a national or regional presentation, you are welcome to add the details directly into our careers portal, CareersLink. It is free to advertise on CareersLink and you can include a logo as part of your event listing too. To add details of your event, log in to your profile on CareersLink, then:

  1. Hover over “Careers Fairs & Events” and select “New Event”
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions through the four-step process

If you are looking to hold a targeted session specifically to recruit from The University of Manchester, please contact us with your expression of interest stating the date and time(s) you would prefer. We will be able to check availability, aiming to ensure that there are no competing presentations occurring at the same time.
