Coronavirus update

In line with the Government's latest advice about coronavirus the University has closed all non-essential University sites and the majority of staff are now working from home - this includes The Careers Service.

The University has a coronavirus information page with details about how we are dealing with student assessments, exams and other academic matters. Online provision of teaching and administrative support is now in place. Semester start dates for the 2020/2021 academic year have been staggered due to the coronavirus pandemic, the dates can be found here.

Any planned careers events on campus have been postponed until further notice. However we are here to help you connect with our students if you are recruiting and have a number of ways in which you can do so including our Lunchtime Live webinar/live chat programme and free vacancy advertising.

We are currently reviewing and planning our Autumn events programme, taking expressions of interest for our fairs, presentations and skills sessions. As the situation is ever-changing we are considering alternative formats to ensure employers and recruiters can continue to attract, meet and engage with our students. All updates about our events offer will appear on our website.
